Why hello there! My name is Hayley Warnock. I’m a video creator over on YouTube. I showcase trails with a big focus on multi-day hiking. I concoct dehydrated recipes for the trail, critique gear (nicely) and toss in eccentric musings that I cleverly persuade you are somewhat connected to the hiking world.
Hailing from a small town in Victoria, Australia, you learn to make your own fun. Hiking soon moulded into my life, as with my appreciation for the wonders of this spinning blue planet. I moved to Melbourne to study film and television at university, and subsequently became a video editor in the industry.
It was one of these days sitting at my desk, editing the talking faces of people I’ve never met, a thought sparked. Why not merge my love for filmmaking with hiking? A harmonious fusion, that’s the day Set To Hike was created. Set to Hike exists to inspire and help others undertake their own hiking adventures.
