Hailing from a small town in Victoria, Australia, you learn to make your own fun. It helps when the kangaroos are the neighbourhood watch of your backyard. Hiking soon moulded into my life, as with my appreciation for the wonders of this spinning blue planet. I moved to Melbourne to study film and television at university, and subsequently became a video editor in the industry. It was one of these days sitting at my desk, editing the talking faces of people I’ve never met, a thought sparked. Why not merge my love for filmmaking with hiking? A harmonious fusion, that’s the day Set To Hike was created. Set to Hike exists to inspire and help other adventure seekers seek the adventure.
