Most of my toiletries/first aid items will be repackaged into smaller containers depending on the length of the trip, in order to save weight and room.

Tiger Balm - Red
Weight: 9g* - Warm pain relief for aches and sore muscles. Your best friend after a long day of hiking. It can also be used to relieve insect bites.

Band-Aid - Tough Strips
Weight 2g* - The amount of bandaids I take will depend on the length of the trip. I always make sure I get the 'tough strips' as they never come off unless you pull them off!

Hand Sanitizer
Weight: 26g* - In a world where you might not be able to shower for days on end, at least hand sanitiser provides some cleanliness.

doTERRA - Peppermint Essential Oil
Weight: 3g* - I bring doTERRA peppermint essential oil in a smaller 1ml bottle. I topically apply peppermint oil for headaches, a lil' afternoon pick me up and as a bug deterrent.

Tiny Bottle Essential Oil
The tiny bottle I poor essential oil into. Perfect size for your first aid kit.

Mini Jars
Weight: 2g - These jars are great to repackage toiletry/first aid items especially when you only need to carry a small amount. For example I use these for Tiger Balm and Calmoseptine cream.

Sunscreen
Weight: 78g* - Sunscreen is your best friend if you are a pasty human like I am, a summer lover and hike under the Australian sun!

Snake Bite Bandage
Weight: 20g - Gotta love Australia right? Essential to your kit in the warmer months.

Blistex - Lip Conditioner
Weight: 5g* - Name a lip balm that is also SPF 30. Blistex! Helps with windburn, sunburn and dryness. (but remember drink yo water!)

d3 - Cohesive Bandage
Weight: 15g - A great lightweight bandage. It also sticks to itself so it stays in place very well without the need for folding or using a clip.

KT TAPE
Weight: 7g* - I usually take about 4 pre-cut strips of tape.

Leukotape
Weight 3g* - I have rolled a small amount of leukotape around a straw. Great for extra strapping or blister prevention.

Alcohol Wipes
Weight 2g* - I normally take one or two of these sterile wipes in case of any cuts or injuries.

Mini Compressed Towel
Weight: 0g* - A tiny compressed towel that expands when you put it in water. Great to have in the kit!

Advil - Liquid Capsules (Ibuprofen)
Weight: 2g* - I use Advil for headaches or pain relief.

Calmoseptine Cream
Weight: 5g* - This ointment is great for healing cuts, scratches, abrasions, chaffing and skin irritations. You name it.

Colgate - Travel Toothpaste
Weight: 42g* - Keeping them pearly whites clean while on the trail!

Travel Size Toothbrush
Weight: 9g - Superlight and compact.

Gauze Pad
Weight: 2g* - I normally take one of these with me on a trip in case of any bigger cuts/injuries.

Wet Wipes
Weight: 45g* - I use these as my shower to clean and freshen up after a big day of hiking! The amount I take depends on the length of the trip. I always take them home with me afterwards.

Toilet Paper
Weight: 89g* - The amount of toilet paper I bring obviously depends on the length of the trip. I will usually take 1 roll.
