Weight 2.4kg - If you are not into ultralight pack I recommend BlackWolf. They make extremely high quality packs designed to carry heavy loads comfortably with loads of features.

Weight: 100g - Sleeping bag liners are great for adding a little extra warmth to your sleeping bag, as well as keeping it clean. Not currently in stock, my next recommendation would be Macpac or Sea to Summit

Weight: 27g - I swear by pack liners for keeping the contents of your pack dry inside. These Nylofume Pack Liners are very lightweight yet strong. Highly recommend!

Weight: 25g per Foot - Roll Width 1524mm - I use a groundsheet to protect the bottom of my tent. You order how much you need and cut it yourself to suit your tent style and size.

Weight: 90g + Pot Cover 12g - Perfect size for one.

Weight: 20g - If you are a fan like myself of spirit burners then the Toaks is one of the lightest ones out there!

Weight: 29g - I use this bottle to carry my methylated spirits for cooking. It has a little spout in the lid to make it easy for pouring.

Weight: 38g - This windshield goes around my stove while cooking to maximise fuel efficiency against the wind.

Weight: 23g - This is the stand that my pot sits on over my alcohol stove.

Weight: 12g - Long handled spoons are great for cooking with over the flame of your stove, or to reach down inside freeze dried meal packets.

Weight: 102g - One of the lightest water bladders out there. I find I keep my hydration levels up better by using a water bladder.

Weight: 76g - I use this to collect dirty/unfiltered water. It then screws onto the Sawyer Squeeze for filtering.

Weight: 69g - Filtering water is cool.

Weight: 4g - This coupling enables me to connect both my unfiltered (dirty) water bladder and my clean water bottle to the Sawyer Squeeze at the same time. It also allows me to back flush the filter using my clean water bottle.

For short trips (3 days) I will use these water purification tablets for my drinking water. However on longer trips (3+ days) I use the Sawyer Squeeze to filter my drinking water. These water purification tablets will always come with me on every trip though as backup.

Weight: 9g - I carry one of these around my stove inside my pot so it doesn't rattle while walking. I also use one to freshen up with water after the day. One towel lasts a good while!

Weight: - 60g - The X-Mug fits 2 cups of water. I use this for any beverages or as an additional bowl to help with cooking.

Weight: 34g - Medium - I use the medium food bag for short multi-day trips. 1-4 days. Weight: 38g - Large - I use the large food bag for longer multi-day trips 4+ days.

Weight: 510g Pair - Once you use a cork handle, you don't go back! There are so many benefits to using trekking poles.

Weight: 13g - This is where I store my licence, car key and money while hiking. (It also fits a passport for any overseas hiking)

Weight: 33g - I carry my phone as my main source of navigation but will always have a map and a compass as backup navigation. Take a short navigation course to familiarise yourself on how to use a compass. It is worth it!

Weight: 43g - A generic 1L water bottle from the super market that fits the Sawyer Squeeze Water Filter.

Weight: 15g* - I primarily use matches to light my stove. I bring along a lighter as backup.

I use ziploc bags to pack my food, my toiletries and my first aid. A hikers best friend because they are so lightweight. I try and re-use these as much as possible to reduce plastic waste.

The fuel I use for my cooking stove. I pour some into my Vargo Fuel Bottle. The quantity depends on the length of the trip.

Weight 8g* - I roll a small amount of duct tape onto a straw and throw it into my kit. Great for temporary repairs on all sorts of things!

I take a small amount of string with me in case I need it. Such as pitching my tent to a tent platform or making a mini clothesline.
